Vi presentiamo la prima parte di una monumentale antologia che, con ventiquattro racconti, di cui quattordici inediti, abbraccia i decenni dagli anni Cinquanta a oggi, raccontando l'epopea dei viaggi e della colonizzazione dello spazio. La maggior parte di essi proviene da popolari serie di space opera e military science fiction, fra cui alcuni vincitori dei premi Hugo e Nebula, autori bestseller del "Nez York Times" e altro ancora.
